“By the sign of the Holy Cross, deliver us God , Our Lord, from our enemies.” “In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

– “O God, whose Only begotten Son obtained for us the prize of eternal salvation, with His life, death and resurrection, we ask you,in venerating the mysteries of the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to live her teachings and  attain the promises they contain.”

For the Pope and his intentions:

– Creed.

– Our Father:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

– In honor of God the Father who created us and created the Virgin Mary; Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are you among all women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”

– “In honor of Jesus Christ, Son of God, Son of the Virgin Mary, our Redeemer; Hail Mary full of Grace…”

– “In honor of the Holy Spirit, our sanctifying God, Spouse of the Virgin Mary; Hail Mary full of Grace…”

– Glory… Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, now and forever, forever and ever. Amen.

– “O my Jesus, forgive us, deliver us from the fires of hell, take all souls to Heaven and help especially those most in need”

“Bless the Holy Father the Pope, our diocesan bishop, sanctify the clergy Father Alexander and our families, give us health, peace and eternal salvation.”

– “O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.”

– “Jesus meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like yours”

– “Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us”

– “St. Joseph, pray for us”

– “Sts Michael, Gabriel and Raphael Archangels, pray for us and defend us in combat.”

INTENTIONS OF THE ROSARY

1) In the first merciful mystery we contemplate Jesus forgiving the sinner and teaching her how to forgive.

Jn 8:2-11: When morning broke, he returned to the temple and all the people came to him. He sat down and began to teach. The scribes and the Pharisees brought him a woman who had been caught in adultery. They put her in the midst of the crowd and said to Jesus, “Teacher, just now this woman was caught in adultery. Moses commanded us in the law to stone such women. What do you say to that? They asked him, in order to test him and to be able to accuse him. But Jesus leaned forward and wrote with his finger on the ground. When they insisted, he stood up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at it. Leaning down again, he wrote on the ground. At these words, feeling accused by their own conscience, they went away one by one, until the last, beginning with the oldest, so that Jesus was left alone with the woman before him. Then he stood up and, seeing only the woman, asked her: Woman, where are those who accused you? Did no one condemn you? She answered: No one, Lord. Then Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.  Word of Salvation. Glory to You, Lord

Lord Jesus, give me the grace to forgive with all my heart. Give me the grace to love the sinner and not the sin, to welcome the sinner and not the sin.

There is a brief moment of silence to meditate on this mystery.

Our Father, 10 Hail Mary, Gloria.

– “O my Jesus, forgive us, deliver us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven and help especially those most in need.”

“Bless the Holy Father Pope, our diocesan bishop, sanctify the clergy, Father Alexander and our families, give us health, peace and eternal salvation.”

– “O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.”

– “Jesus meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like yours.”

– “Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.”

– “St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, Saints Louis and Celia Martin, pray for us.”

2) In the second merciful mystery, we contemplate Jesus who invites us to practice merciful love.

Lk 6:28,36-37.42: “Bless those who curse you and pray for those who revile you….Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven…. Hypocrite, first remove the beam from your own eye, and then you will see, so that you can remove the speck from your brother’s eye.  Word of salvation. Glory be to you, Lord.

Lord Jesus, through the intercession of your Blessed Mother, help me, instead of judging, to love my brother. Lord, I want to stop judging my brother.

There is a brief moment of silence to meditate on this mystery.

– “Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us”

– “Saint Margaret Mary of Alacoque, pray for us.”

3) In the third merciful mystery we contemplate Jesus, the merciful good shepherd.

Lk 15:4-6; Jn 10:11, 14-15: 4 Who of you, having a hundred sheep and losing one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go in search of the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing; and when he comes home, he gathers his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, “Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. I lay down my life for my sheep. Glory be to you, Lord.

Lord Jesus, as your Most Holy Mother, give me strong and generous shoulders to carry those in need.

– “Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.”

– “St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, pray for us.”

4) In the fourth merciful mystery we contemplate Jesus who always awaits our return to his Merciful Heart.

Lk 15, 11-14, 17-18, 20-24: “A man had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the inheritance. So the father divided their possessions between them. A few days later, having gathered all that belonged to him, the younger son left for a very distant country, and there he dissipated his fortune and lived dissolutely. After he had squandered everything, a great famine came over the region and he began to suffer hardship. Then he came to his senses and thought: How many servants there are in my father’s house who have bread in abundance… and here I am dying of hunger! I will get up and go to my father and say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. And he arose and went to his father. He was still a long way off when his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran to him, and fell on his neck and kissed him. Then the son said to him, “My father, I have sinned against heaven and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.” The father said to the servants, “Bring me quickly the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet. This my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began the feast.” Word of Salvation. Glory to you, Lord.

Lord Jesus, through the intercession of your Blessed Mother, give me the grace to have more and more zeal for the salvation of souls, to rejoice deeply for the return of those who were lost from your flock.

– “Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us”

– “Saint Faustina Kowalska, pray for us.”

5) In the fifth merciful mystery we contemplate Jesus who wants us in heaven.

Jn 10:27-28: “My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life; they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. Glory to you, Lord.

Lord Jesus, through the intercession of Your Blessed Mother, I want to be in the world without belonging to the world; help me, Lord, to hear Your voice and follow You with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind.
