Sorrowful Mysteries

(Tuesday and Friday)

“By the sign of the Holy Cross, deliver us God , Our Lord, from our enemies.” “In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

– “O God, whose only-begotten Son obtained for us the prize of eternal salvation by His life, death and resurrection, we ask Thee, venerating the mysteries of the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to live its teachings and to attain the promises they contain.”

For the Pope and his intentions:

– Creed.

– Our Father:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

– In honor of God the Father who created us and created the Virgin Mary; Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among all women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”

– “In honor of Jesus Christ, Son of God, Son of the Virgin Mary, our Redeemer; Hail Mary full of Grace…”

– “In honor of the Holy Spirit, our sanctifying God, Spouse of the Virgin Mary; Hail Mary full of Grace…”

– Glory… Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, now and forever, forever and ever. Amen.

– “O my Jesus, forgive us, deliver us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven and help especially those most in need”

“Bless the Holy Father Pope, our diocesan bishop, sanctify the clergy, Father Alexander and our families, give us health, peace and eternal salvation.”

“O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.”

“Jesus meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like yours”

– “Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us”

– “Saint Joseph, pray for us”

“Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael Archangels, pray for us and defend us in battle.”

INTENTIONS OF THE ROSARY

Mt 26:36-39: “Jesus withdrew with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to them, “Sit here, while I go there and pray.” And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be saddened and distressed. Then he said to them, “My soul is sad, even unto death. Stay here and watch with me. He fell on his face and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.  Word of Salvation. Glory to You, Lord

Lord Jesus, we honor you for your mortal agony. We ask you and the Blessed Mother for sincere repentance from our sins.

And Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.’ They divided their garments and drew lots for them. It was almost the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, when the sun went out and the veil of the temple was torn in the middle. Et Iesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui, nobis post hoc exsilium ostend.
